To our AMAZING supporters and horse loving family, we’re thrilled to share that thanks to you, we’ve already saved 6 lives in January as we work toward our goal of rescuing 50 horses this year...double last year’s total!

Earlier this month, we went to auction to save two horses, but when three needed us, we couldn’t leave any behind. With your support and our incredible rescue team in Colorado, we made it happen!

Thanks to you, we were able to save two more precious lives last week. Meet Bessie and Nelson!

22 year old Bessie: We saw Bessie online as she was at the Texas auction house on her way to slaughter if not saved. Our fellow rescue friends, Ruby’s Purpose Rescue, was trying to raise funds to get her safe! Her body condition, as you can see, was so poor she could barely stand!

We stepped in and donated the extra funds needed to save her and get her safe. She will live her final years with Ruby's Purpose Rescue! Huge thank you to Rubys for partnering with us to make it possible!

25ish year old Nelson: Nelson is a draft cross, who was dumped at Centennial Livestock Auction in Colorado. He was alone and the only horse that day to run through auction! We had to help, so after outbidding a kill buyer once again we managed to save him. He will soon be arriving in California at our ranch to enjoy his golden years with lots of love and TLC!

🔥 Helping with the California Fire Equine Evacuations

We received many calls, texts and social media messages about help needed for equines being evacuated by the fires in California. As you all know, many people have lost everything and the devastation here in our home state is absolutely heart breaking.

Our hearts go out to those in need, as so many of our friends and yours have lost their homes and even their beautiful animals! Over 1000 horses have been displaced by the fires with no where to go! While we did everything we could with opening up our ranch to accept horses in need of a safe landing, we knew we wanted to do MORE!

We have recently created a fundraiser for our fellow the boots on the ground local 501(c)(3) rescues risking their lives to save animals in need! The funds will be distributed for evacuated horses currently in our care and we have identified other 501(c)(3) local nonprofits who desperately need help and continue to risk their lives to keep horses safe while feeding and giving them the care they all need!

So far, we have sent over $7,000 dollars raised to two incredible on the ground rescue teams, Viva Global Rescue and Fleet of Angels. Both very deserving recipients of our funds raised.
